THE
FUTURE
OF
HOME-
BUILDING
IS
BEHIND
THIS
WALL.
THIS
HOME
WAS
BUILT
TWICE
FIRST, WE
BUILT IT HERE,
TO ENSURE
EVERYTHING
FITS AND
WORKS
TOGETHER.
Every H+ME Technology home begins in a virtual
environment using 3D CAD software. Here, each house is
rendered in 3D to result in a precisely engineered design
before a single piece of wood is cut.
In traditional home construction, a small error during one phase can cause larger problems down the line.
For example a floor that warps will
affect the quality and fit of the finishes. Our engineering process eliminates these issues, creating a more durable home with a better fit for materials like doors, cabinetry, and floors.
Wall panels and floor joists are pre-cut to accomodate utilities, HVAC, doors and windows, to ensure a more precise, weather-proof fit without the need for extra measurements or cutting on the construction site.
When working in a CAD environment, engineers and architects can inspect and test all the home's systems together before they're built to make sure everything
integrates seamlessly and with virtually no errors.
THEN, AFTER
MORE THAN
A MILLION
CALCULATIONS,
WE BUILD
IT A SECOND
TIME. WITH
ZERO ERRORS.
The perfected CAD plans are sent directly to our
200,000-squarefoot, state-of-the-art factory floor where
every floor and wall panel is precision engineered.
Our sophisticated European CNC technology uses advanced precision robotics to build within 1/16", or 1.58mm - even more precise than the best traditional workmanship. This means straighter walls, tighter seams, and a better overall fit in every element of construction.
All our floors are built on engineered I-joists and assembled with low-VOC elastomeric glue, which can cure more thoroughly in the controlled environment of our factory than on a job site open to the elements.
Our source materials are rigorously assessed for quality. In our environmentally controlled factory environment, wood and raw materials are protected from rain, UV rays, and temperature variations that can cause damage.
FINALLY,
WE ASSEMBLED
IT HERE.
IN AS LITLE
AS TWO DAYS.
Finished timber panels are delivered to the job site ready
for assembly. With the aid of boomtrucks ands specialized
trailers, a team of skilled tradespeople can assemble a
complete house in as little as two days.
Most home builders spend a lot of time waiting on site: for weathr, for materials, for tradespeople, and other interruptions. By factory-constructing our panels, we bypass these delays.
Structural elements, utilities, and mechanical components are all integrated into the design. So, as soon as the structure is complete, tradespeople can begin finishing the home with no delays for cutting and measuring.
Faster assembly means the interior elements of the house spend less time exposed to the elements. This reduces the possibility of future material warping, and significantly decreases the chance of mould, mildew, or water seepage.
WELCOME
TO H+ME
TECHNOLOGY.
BUILT TWICE.
ASSEMBLED
ONCE.
The benefits of a H+ME Technology home are easy
to appreciate.
Our engineering is eco-friendly and energy-efficient. we use only sustainable forestry initiative certified wood in all our construction.
"Building a home site makes as much sense as building a car in your driveway."
Kent Larson, MIT Living Labs
A well-engineered house with proper ventilation means better energy efficiency for homeowners.
